Director Excise and Taxation, Bilal Azam, confirmed that all ten M-Tag centers across Islamabad will now operate seven days a week, including weekends.
The updated timing is:
- Monday to Sunday: 9:00 am to 9:00 pm
This means the Saturday–Sunday schedule is now the same as regular weekday hours.

The department said the decision was made to support people who cannot visit during normal working days. With longer hours and full-week availability, citizens can now:
